Colour Blast

A shot of zinging colour is uplifting and energising. When it is in a simple shape unspoilt by an tricky detailing a strong bright dyed dress or shirt can work as hard as any monochrome garment. A pink jacket, yellow blouse or orange Shift dress is a look that is as chic as anything. Not feeling too brave then a fabulous scarf or cashmere cardy will work just fine. Trilogy.com and Selfridges for silk Equipment shirts Magashoni in Beauchamp place and Cocowai for cashmere.

Galliano

John Galliano’s Summer 2011 Collection has a most Christmassy

spirit, twists of tulle over golden painted hair, dresses
sprinkled and sparkling with a dusting of fairy silver.
Wouldn’t his dress be magical for The Wedding?
Happy Christmas to all you fashionistas.

Some thoughts about shoes

Loving the Louis Vuitton shoes on that new last, from AW2010, the set back heel both on the little low pump and the vampy high court is so elegant. I am hoping the high street will play catch up soon as i really cant buy the real thing. The really flat riding boot and the high short boot is elusive too. The british stores even that new temple to the foot in selfridges are still backing the shoe that incorporates the entire contents of my kitchen drawers. Do I feel a trip to paris on eurostar becoming a necessity. Stephan Kelian in Sloane Street, almost there and worth a visit. Of course Tods and Manolo are still the leaders of chic..

The Aviator Jacket

Lots of you want an aviator Jacket for Self or daughter. Burberry is super and Mega expensive into the thousands. This Next jacket, currently in stock on-line Is a great option approx £250 in leather. I haven’t touched it myself so not sure how Soft. For a really small price £60 there is a Great faux fur and leather one in Top Shop Now.

Animal print

Why does it never go away, and it somehow always looks great. My fave is the jacket from Dries van Noten. But check out the great bags shoes and scarves in the stores now. Zara has a lovely subtle print cardigan, under £30 perfect for smart casual. A scarf will add a bit of zip to the camel coat.
